Fruity Loops?

Alright man, liking the rhythms going on here. Nice effects you have on the snare. Very machine like. As songs go it isn't much but I reckon this would work nicely for a flash game or something.

Not bad.

Hmmm... it's not a bad start. I'm not too sure about the fading volume you've got on the go, but hey. Some of the sounds are pretty raw... but i'm guessing that may have something to do with the whoe "raw killer" thing. It's interesting and a bit different but over all it doesn't seem to flow too well.

Nice try and keep composing.

P.s. I like some of those drum licks ;)

Its good for a loop, but it was just a loop. Would have been nice to hear a little more but thats how it goes. Very well produced with lots going on.

I can see this loops purpose for flash animations etc so I will be giving 5/5 as its pretty good for its purpose.

Pretty damn good.

I'm always sceptical of listen to new shit on here as most of it is pretty poor. I liked this piece, had lots of energy and a good riff. Well produced and decent chugging baseline. Well plaed mate!

Modern Hip-Hop

Just want to start by saying I really dislike hip-hop music but will give you as fair review as possible.

The bassline was fantastic. Perfect for that hip-hop feel. I also like the way you have made good use of the hand claps and synthy effects.

Personally I wasn't really struck by the melody, I felt it could have been progressed a little more. That said this was well produced and a decent 'modern' hip-hop tune.

Don't like Gabba?

Firstly, before this track has even loaded I just want to say that this track is shit because I don't like the genre... just kidding! Seriously aggrovates me when people vote low because they don't like the style of music. They should just review the stuff they like and give stuff a fair review...

ok song loaded. Deffinatly gabba. The first thing to mention, is that I personally found the bass drum a little weak for this kind of gabba. Its obviously quite fast and dark, maybe needs a little more emph. I also found that maybe the EQ could do with a little work on, the lead synth seems to be leveled a bit high in my opinion.

All in all this could be improved but is nevertheless in good direction for the gabba genre. I will be giving 5/5 to counter the others who voted lowly.

Awesome tune man. Wish I could write drum and bass this good. Seriously man, this was really good. Looking forward to a full version if ones coming out. I DJ drum and bass in England and would love to slam this on in a club if there was a full version. 5/5 straight off. The only reason for a 9 was because its just a preview.

Good work mate, very well produced. I am exteremly jealous!

I spent about 6 hours straight working on this... so I thought I'd throw it out there for some suggestions. I'll probably finish the full version next week. well the thick sound is just the layer after layer or really annoying reverbs that somehow manage to make good sounds when put together...

Wow Rocky, wasn't expecting this.

First things first, you have improved a great deal since I was last on newgrounds. This is a really nice piece, very energetic and some great melodies here. I felt you used the velocities to your advantage aswell. Really great work man, no critisms this time round.

You know how stingy I am with rating, but don't take it to heart, I was really really impressed.

Hey man nice to see you around again. I'm glad I've improved, I try to do that haha. Energetic was really one of my main goals here. It is the finale of a long (not really) duet; I needed it to have some fire, even more fire than the first and second mvnts. By velocities I guess you mean tempi? I tried to use the tempi to give the piece some movement. No criticisms? Wow, I must've done a really good job haha. Don't worry about the rating, I don't mind at all; in fact, that's a good score to me.

I'm glad you enjoyed this man. That makes me really happy.

I thought it would be a little bit more succesful though, it's taken a right old battering in the ratings. Oh well, thats newgrounds for you.

Thanks for your high compliment about my own unique style, I'm flattered! Although a few of the glitches at the end are a bit aimless when I listen back to them. I'm working on some fresh tricks. They should be unleashed soon.

P.S I checked out beatpick, and i probably need to listen to a bit more from them, but what I did hear was kind of worse than newgrounds. But I shouldn't be so hasty, it's just the initial vibe I got.
So much the better anyway, because I'll sound awesome in comparison, lol...
