Minimal, but I like it.

I think for me one of the key parts to techno is the intense build up and climax, which I don't think this particually had. Although I do appreciate that this is blatently meant to be a progressive minimal piece.

I'd personally like to hear this completely drugged up to listen to how I think it needs to be listen to.

I like what you've done here man... different, but very cool!

Cheers for another tune!

James

Didn't work?!?!

I don't know whether it was just my computer (if so sorry for voting 0) but this didn't seem to work!

BlueGasMask responds:

it must be your computer, i downloaded it, and it worked. sorry it didn't work for you.

10/10... I never give 10/10!

This is a wicked tune man. I like what you did with all aspects of this piece. You've deffinatly got a lot of talent. I'm loving what you've done with the organ, so funky.

This really is worthy of 10/10!

Good Effort,

James

WinTang responds:

Cheers man! Thanks for your kind words and ratings!

Yeah was kinda cool

I'm not really sure what to offer as a critisism but i'd probably say it sounded a little weak in the middle. It never probably climaxed. If you maybe added a hi-hat part of something that could help.

I really liked the beginning build up, pretty technoy, but i personally though it lost a bit of interest afterwards.

Over all a nice effort.

Thank you for you oppinion. I did'nt really like the ending myself (i admit, i got lazy =P). I'll try harder in getting some "climax" in my next sub or in the remaster of this 1.
Best regards

Good tune!

If i'm honest, i'm not a great fan of the hi-hat at the biggening of the tune. But it seems to work much better with the whole beat.

This song was very exciting. I'm trying to critisise your work as to generally help you out a bit, but I really can't. Maybe song dark vocals over the top could work.

Great tune, keep composing,

James

dj-padman1 responds:

You know, as soon as I heard this track playing on Newgrounds, I know I had made a serious boo-boo with that hat! I'm a seriously slow learner, it's not funny :P
If you think it's exciting, I'm pretty stoked! And I'll definately be doing some vocal experimentation in the near future.
Thanks again for another most welcome review.

Repulser, ha ha!

Its dark, sick and twisted... I love it!

This is cool

If im honest, this isn't my favourtie of all your work as I found it a little messy in places, but that doesn't mean its still not better than most of the shit churned out on newgrounds.

A little message to the last reviewer RyeGuyHead, don't be shallow-minded enough to confuse opinion with critisism. It is not fair at all to vote low because you simply 'don't like the style'. Try if you will to see outside of the box and listen to how well it works or doesn't work musically. Just remember it is easy to sit here and complain, but have you ever though it would probably be much more constructive to some up the strong and weak points musically rather then destroy it verbally because you 'don't like it'. Just a thought.

Well done padman, another tune

James

TUNE!

Wicked tune man. But your right, it can't be good because it isn't numa numa or whatever the hell its called.

Really well put together, and well mixed. I've probably asked before but software do you use? I just wish I could compose stuff like this, as it is completely what i'm into.

Thanks for another awesome tune!

James

dj-padman1 responds:

We all missed you during your absence Jimbob!
This was done in Ableton Live, and I reckon you'd have a blast with it. You haven't lived till you've tried Live's timstretching and automation of clips, I'm telling you...grab the demo someday, it's pretty much fully functional.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and review, I appreciate it greatly :)

Good house

Good house tune man. It would be great to see you make it big! Have you tried www.beakpick.com? It may be worth composing a couple of songs to send to them.

Well done, James

dj-padman1 responds:

Hmm..haven't heard about that one, I must check it out!. Thanks for the lead, and I don't want to doubt you, but is it beatpick, not beakpick?
Wow, it would be great to be a little bit more succesful with music. Then I could probably feed and clothe myself at some basic level! :)
Thanks for another review, always a pleasure.

How about those bad boy glasses? Minimal style music composer. Reviews always welcome, cheers.
