More Trance Then Techno

OK, where shall I start. First of all by mentioning that if your new to writing music, then well done, you've picked it up quickly.

The synths suited the style of the piece and the melody was nice, but at the same time needed to change. Maybe be brought up a 5th or something as it got a little repetative.

You didn't over power anything which is always a good sign.

The general backing synth section was used well. Overall this is a nice start and a good first submission.

Maybe something to take into consideration is that this song needs to develop more. Change the beat perhaps as the piece moves on and add some new melody synths.

I'll give 5/5 as i'm sure you'll be mindlessly 0'ed at somepoint. James

Good for a loop!

Its good for a loop, but it was just a loop. Would have been nice to hear a little more but thats how it goes. Very well produced with lots going on.

I can see this loops purpose for flash animations etc so I will be giving 5/5 as its pretty good for its purpose.

I like what you've got here.

I'm not sure if I agree with Violent-Vision who has mentioned the loops being too long. I think one of the key aspects of the techno genre is that it is repetative and trancing. This deffinatly that. Although I wouldn't go as far to call it techno.

I like what you've got here, very game style to me. Its a bit weird and discordent in a good way and has some very interesting sounds.

Maybe some critisms with the levels and with some of the sounds. Also very short, but this is a preview right?

All in all, I liked this. Good work.

[Psycho Chaos]

Different...

This was a pretty different piece. I'm not too sure about the choir effects, seemed a little out of place. This was very disorientating, but i suppose that adds to the whole psycho chaos thing going on. Its difficult to comment on as its well just... weird.

Pretty damn good.

I'm always sceptical of listen to new shit on here as most of it is pretty poor. I liked this piece, had lots of energy and a good riff. Well produced and decent chugging baseline. Well plaed mate!

I like this piece, got some really nice sounding synths and some interesting melody lines. Possibly could have taken it a little further, but all in all good.

Alright padman, long time no see. Very industrial piece here. Good work. Very thick with lots going on. Cut up to the usual padman standard which is what I always like to hear.

Modern Hip-Hop

Just want to start by saying I really dislike hip-hop music but will give you as fair review as possible.

The bassline was fantastic. Perfect for that hip-hop feel. I also like the way you have made good use of the hand claps and synthy effects.

Personally I wasn't really struck by the melody, I felt it could have been progressed a little more. That said this was well produced and a decent 'modern' hip-hop tune.

Haha, always nice to hear a bit of pounding Hardcore/Gabba. I like what you've done here man. The sample works wonders. I found the snare a little tinny, but the kick was just right. Loving the synth melody about half way through, dark and dirty.

Good work mate, 5/5 keep it up.

Don't like Gabba?

Firstly, before this track has even loaded I just want to say that this track is shit because I don't like the genre... just kidding! Seriously aggrovates me when people vote low because they don't like the style of music. They should just review the stuff they like and give stuff a fair review...

ok song loaded. Deffinatly gabba. The first thing to mention, is that I personally found the bass drum a little weak for this kind of gabba. Its obviously quite fast and dark, maybe needs a little more emph. I also found that maybe the EQ could do with a little work on, the lead synth seems to be leveled a bit high in my opinion.

All in all this could be improved but is nevertheless in good direction for the gabba genre. I will be giving 5/5 to counter the others who voted lowly.
